If you are from out of town and if you are visiting Plano in September, schedule your visit so that it coincides with the Plano Balloon Festival. The festival is held over the course of three days.

A review on Yelp calls the area around Arbour Hills Nature Reserve, the only hilly region in North Texas. Arbour Hills Nature Reserve is great for walks and to breathe in some fresh air. If you want some respite from the hustle bustle and noise of the city, Arbour Hills Nature Reserve is the place to visit.

Except for the occasional walker, the only company you and your loved one will have here are some birds and the trees. If you are lucky, you might see some rabbits or a coyote even.
